It took a few doubles (2 classes in 1 day) but I got all 30 days of the 30 day challenge done!
I even took one of my friends, Norma, to a class the very next day for class #31. She surprised me with a special bright purple and orange yoga towel as a congratulatory gift 🙂
My last post about Bikram’s (Why am I in a hot and sweaty room full of half-naked strangers) was really close to the 30th day so results/observations from this challenge were pretty much the same.
Results
- Improved flexibility – especially with the Half-moon pose!
- Softer skin
- Increased confidence
- Increased energy
- Ability to wake up at 6:00 am! Haha, I have to do this for work every so often anyways..such is the life of organizing events, attending conferences and board meetings
- Less muscle fatigue – I do fitness classes at Steve Nash and went to a spinning class at Cadence and didn’t feel sore at all after these activities

Myself and Whitney after a session (#39 for me) and she was taking me out for dinner to say thanks for volunteering at a DigiBC event.
I had a blast that night- thanks again Whitney! The coconut idea was from Susana- Genius!
Brought back wonderful memories of the Cook Islands.
What’s next?
40 classes by end of April. (10 down!)
Invite 2 new friends/month! I’m on track so far with 2 in January and 2 in February 😉
Shout out to Charlie, Norma, Chris and Whitney!!!
